Aboriginal Procurement Policy Review
The Review of the NT Governments Aboriginal Procurement Policy
The Northern Territory Governments (NTG) Aboriginal Procurement Policy commenced 1 July 2022 as a targeted approach within the NT Government’s procurement framework, to increase opportunities for Aboriginal Business Enterprises (ABE), community-controlled organisations and Aboriginal Territorians to participate in government procurement activities.
The policy has been in place for 18months and the NT Government is undertaking a review of the Aboriginal Procurement Policy (APP). The review will inform the policy direction and delivery for the next three years (2024/25 – 2026/27).
Janalki Pty Ltd has been engaged by the Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade to undertake the review.
